Meet Jennifer

Hello! I’m Jennifer and I am so happy to welcome you here. As a retired elementary teacher of 20+ years (grades PreK-6th grade), I am currently working with small groups of students and helping them with grade level math interventions.

When I’m not working, this Great Lakes gal enjoys walking and biking by the lake, time with friends and family, traveling, learning new skills and creating resources for teachers and homeschool families. I am also blessed to be a wife, mom of four, and a grandma.

You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

Zig Ziglar

My Mission

Math didn’t always come easily for me and was one of the reasons I chose to become a teacher in the first place. I don’t want any students to be sitting in a classroom feeling like I did about math for many years.

Different math programs come and go or get repackaged and renamed.

The educational pendulum swings back and forth, but one thing remains a constant…our kids need to have a clear understanding of math and what all of the abstract concepts really mean (even before formal schooling begins).

And so I invite you to find a comfortable spot with your favorite beverage of choice (my coffee is ready and waiting) and dig in to find some math magic for your math learners.

Where do you want to start?
